Cranial-Sacral Therapy I Don Cornwell, Ph.D., D.O.M. 1pm to 5pm May 16 - 19 2008
Cranial-Sacral Therapy is a gentle healing art that begins by palpating the subtle skeletal and fascial movement produced by the pumping of cerebrospinal fluid. This rhythmic movement is subtly assisted so the motion becomes larger and more symmetric. The body relaxes deeply. Releasing physical and emotional blockages. The treatment sequence learned in this workshop begins at the feet, ends at the head and includes aligning all of the cranial bones with each other.

Cranial-Sacral Therapy II Don Cornwell, Ph.D., D.O.M. 1pm to 5pm August 22 – 25 2008
Level II Cranial-Sacral Therapy teaches advanced techniques that can be combined with the treatment protocol of level I. Further corrections are accomplished and the ability to treat more complex imbalances is increased. Included are techniques that align the facial bones to an already aligned cranium. The therapeutic use of still-points is part of the training. Still-points are the body's natural response to trauma and its body memory. During Still-Points, the body begins to process and resolve stuck traumas. This process of releasing trauma by utilizing Still-Points is assisted. Prerequisite: Cranial Sacral Therapy I
Windows of the Sky Don Cornwell, Ph.D., D.O.M. 1pm to 5pm September 19 – 22 2008
Windows of the Sky are a series of Acupressure points that help Qi move upwards in the body, thus increasing awareness and acceptance of life experiences. This results in letting go of energy patterns that no longer serve us. Physical, emotional and spiritual imbalances realign so that we can move to the next step in our physical, emotional, and spiritual journeys. These points are stimulated with light finger pressure and some with Essential Oils. The experience is dream-like and meditative, during which greater clarity, resolution of life's problems and physiological improvement.
Chinese Medicine & Qi Gong Don Cornwell, Ph.D., D.O.M. 1pm to 5pm October 10 – 13 2008
Chinese Medical Qi Gong will be practiced to move, increase and store the therapist's Qi. Then a number of specific Qi gong hand techniques will be used on the client's body to affect their movement and balance of energy. These hand techniques are much more powerful then simple pressure point stimulations. The movement of Qi is a great deal more obvious and can be felt more readily by both the therapist and the client. Treatment protocols for specific disorders will be taught, including specific point selection, choice of hand techniques and use of specific essential oils on selected points.
Cranial-Sacral Unwinding Don Cornwell, Ph.D., D.O.M. 1pm to 5pm October 24 – 27 2008
Unwinding is a technique of gently following the repositioning of different body parts as they move into postures associated with held trauma. This allows the body memory to reprocess and let go of trauma. This technique is powerful and quick in its effect. In this class, Unwinding is taken beyond working on the muscul0-skeletal system to working on the internal organs. Basic palpation skills and Chinese Medicine theory is taught in order to indicate which organs are in need of treatment
