Cranial-Sacral I
$275 May 15-17, 2009.
Fri. 6-9 PM., Sat. & Sun. 9 AM-5 PM
16 Continuing Education hours
NCBTMB Approved
Cranial-Sacral is a gentle healing art that starts by palpating the subtle skeletal and fascial movement produced by the pumping of cerebrospinal fluid. This rhythmic movement is subtly assisted so the motion becomes larger and more symmetric. The body relaxes deeply, releasing physical and emotional blockages. The treatment sequence learned in this workshop begins at the feet, ends at the head and includes aligning all of the cranial bones with each other.
Cranial-Sacral II
$275 June 19-21, 2009
Fri. 6-9 PM., Sat. & Sun. 9 AM-5 PM
16 Continuing Education hours
NCBTMB Approved
Level II Cranial-Sacral Therapy teaches advanced techniques that can be combined with the treatment protocol of Level I. Further corrections are accomplished and the ability to treat more complex imbalances is increased. Included are techniques that align the facial bones. The therapeutic use of Still-Points is part of the training. Still-Points are the body's natural response to processing trauma and holds its body memory. During Still-Points, the body begins to process and resolve stuck traumas. This tendency is assisted and utilized, as is the body's tendency to sometimes have bones be out of synch with each other.
Prerequisite: Cranial-Sacral I
Polarity Five Element Workshop
$275 Aug. 21-23, 2009
Fri. 6-9 PM., Sat. & Sun. 9 AM-5 PM
16 Continuing Education Hours
NCBTMB Approved
Polarity Therapy is a gentle healing art, which treats the energy flow of the body. The therapist is trained to feel the client’s energy and the areas where it is blocked. Balance is achieved through a variety of styles of touch to release these blockages, creating a free-flow of energy. There are different qualities of energy, called the Five Elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether). Each Element affects different parts of the body and different emotions. Balancing the Elements moves a person toward greater health, release of pain and greater ease in moving through life experiences. Polarity integrates well with other forms of bodywork.
Spirit Gate Acupressure
$275 Sept. 11-13, 2009
Fri. 6-9 PM., Sat. & Sun. 9 AM-5 PM
16 Continuing Education hours
NCBTMB Approved
There are spiritual and emotional reasons for imbalances of the Chinese Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water) and their organs (Liver, Pericardium, Heart, Spleen, Lung and Kidney). Each Element has its own Spirit, which is responsible for specific states of consciousness, as well as physiological functioning. Spirit Access Points along the spine connect with these energies and help them take up residence in their home organ. Further points on the crown of the head, called Portals, help connect with the wisdom of each Element, to further resolve blockages and imbalances. Shifts felt in consciousness translate into transitions in organ functioning.
Chinese Medicine & Qi Gong
$275 Sept 25-27, 2009
Fri. 6-9 PM., Sat. & Sun. 9 AM-5 PM
16 Continuing Education hours
NCBTMB Approved
Chinese Medical Qi Gong will be practiced to move, increase and store the therapist’s Qi. Then a number of specific Qi Gong hand techniques will be used on the client’s body to affect their movement and balance of energy. These hand techniques are much more powerful than simple pressure point stimulation. The movement of Qi is a great deal more obvious and can be felt more readily by both the therapist and the client. Treatment protocols for specific disorders will be taught, including specific point selection, choice of hand techniques and use of specific essential oils on selected points.
Windows of the Sky
$275 Oct. 9-11, 2009
Fri. 6-9 PM., Sat. & Sun. 9 AM-5 PM
16 Continuing Education hours
NCBTMB Approved
Windows of the Sky are a series of Acupressure points that help Qi move upwards in the body, thus increasing awareness and acceptance of life experiences. This results in letting go of energy patterns that no longer serve us. Physical, emotional and spiritual imbalances realign so that we can move to the next step in our journeys. These points are stimulated with light finger pressure and some with Essential Oils. The experience is dream-like, meditative, during which greater clarity and resolution is achieved.
Cranial-Sacral Unwinding
$275 Oct. 23-25, 2009
Fri. 6-9 PM., Sat. & Sun. 9 AM-5 PM
16 Continuing Education hours
NCBTMB Approved
Unwinding is a technique of gently following the repositioning of different body parts as they move into postures associated with held trauma. This allows the body memory to reprocess and let go of trauma. This technique is powerful and quick in its effect. In this class, Unwinding is taken beyond working on the musculo-skeletal system to working on the internal organs. Basic palpation skills and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory is taught in order to indicate which organs are in need of treatment.

No one can take this class with out the equipment listed as option one. This class is for those wanting to practice the Rae System. Option one represents the least amount of equipment required for practice. If the money is available then consider the additional options. Those that think they will be doing a fair amount of distance treatment of a longer duration (weeks to months at a time). This is known as broadcasting or projecting treatments and you have the available money than consider option 2-4. If what I am talking about is unknown to you at this time then purchase option one and everything in the other options will be clarified in class. The purchase of the equipment in option one will in no way be a waste if your practice dictates that additional equipment is needed.
